KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Bobby Shaw is a restaurant executive, operator, and leadership builder with more than 30 years of experience scaling brands, developing people, and driving operational excellence across multi‑unit organizations. He currently serves as Chief Business Officer of Sizzling Hospitality, leading the Texas growth of Pepper Lunch with a 20‑unit expansion strategy across Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. 

Bobby’s career includes senior leadership roles at Freebirds World Burrito and Chipotle, where he oversaw more than 200 restaurants and built high‑performing teams grounded in culture and internal promotion. He is the author of Cutting Onions: Leadership Lessons Learned from the Restaurant Industry and host of The Cutting Onions Podcast, where he explores practical, people‑centered leadership. 

A Gallup‑Certified Strengths Coach, Bobby is passionate about developing leaders and building organizations designed for long‑term impact. His work centers on one core belief: great businesses are built by great people — and great people are built on purpose.

Sales Manager, Mosebach Manufacturing Company

Mark Dornoff is a Sales Engineer and Manager with Mosebach Manufacturing Company, where he supports power generation, rail and mining customers with advanced load bank and dynamic braking resistor solutions. His background spans utility operations, industrial safety, and power‑generation technologies, strengthened by prior leadership roles in energy and industrial equipment sectors.

Known for his practical, solutions‑focused approach, Mark brings deep insight into power systems and industrial reliability.

Mark Foerster

Industrial Sales Engineer/Key Account Manager OEM, VMC Group

Mark Foerster is an Industrial Sales Engineer at The VMC Group, where he works directly with major OEM manufacturers including Cummins, Caterpillar Inc., Trane Technologies, and Johnson Controls. In this role, he supports customers across the HVAC, power generation, and industrial equipment sectors with vibration isolation and engineered solutions that improve equipment performance, reliability, and longevity.

Mark focuses on building long-term partnerships with OEM customers by identifying opportunities for product optimization, solving complex application challenges, and supporting new equipment development. His work bridges engineering and commercial strategy, helping manufacturers integrate effective vibration control solutions into critical systems.

Since joining VMC in 2025, Mark has been responsible for managing key OEM accounts, coordinating with engineering teams, and supporting supply chain and forecasting initiatives to ensure reliable delivery and technical performance.

Carlos Gomez

Business Development Manager, Thomson Power Systems

Carlos Gomez is a Business Development Manager at Thomson Power Systems, specializing in Automatic Transfer Switch solutions for critical power applications.

With over 14 years of experience in industrial automation, technical sales, and application engineering, Carlos helps customers design and implement reliable power transfer systems that support operational continuity and safety. Known for blending deep technical expertise with strategic business insight, he works closely with engineers, contractors, and facility teams to deliver tailored ATS solutions.

Rob Groben

Business Development Manager, Stored Energy Systems (SENS)

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is an industry-leading supplier of non-stop DC power systems, high-reliability power electronics and distributed energy products that are essential to critical infrastructure function.

Rob has over 17 years of experience in the critical power equipment industry. His background includes experience with ATS and Paralleling Gear for ASCO Power Technologies, Rep Agency experience for GE Multilin Protective Relays/Meters, and distributor sales functions, Metalclad & Metal-Enclosed Medium Voltage Switchgear and E-houses up to 38kV with PowerCon Corporation, and DC battery systems with SENS for both Genset and Industrial markets.

Groben received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Rowan University, and his MBA from Georgian Court University.


Michelle Hilger

Founder & President, Mongoose Power Solutions

Michelle is the founder of Mongoose Power Solutions. She has over 16 years of industry experience ensuring reliability and operability in onsite and emergency power systems.  

Driven by a passion to help the end-user/customers to bridge the gaps between the customers, independent service providers, manufacturers, regulatory bodies, and service providers. Michelle leads Mongoose with a commitment to education, advocacy, and collaborative partnerships. She is an active participant in industry standard committees, where her grassroots leadership helps shape policies and practices that push the industry forward.  

Michelle is passionate about promoting the industry through innovative initiatives, including sponsorship of NASCAR Xfinity team Alpha Prime Racing, showcasing the critical link between power reliability and diverse real-world applications. Her multifaceted approach exemplifies her dedication to elevating the standards and visibility of the onsite power sector. 


Robb Leu

Senior Vice President, DRC Heat Transfer

Robert (Robb) Leu is a leadership-focused engineer with nearly two decades in the cooling system industry working at DRC Heat Transfer.

As Senior Vice President, he shapes and implements the company’s vision, overseeing Engineering, Sales, Quality, Field Service, Supply Chain, and Finance. Passionate about fostering talent, Robb is dedicated to mentoring and empowering his team to reach their full potential.

Robb has authored several white papers and technical bulletins within the engine cooling system space.

Robb earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, focusing on solid mechanics and economic game theory. In his personal life, Robb enjoys spending quality time in the rich outdoors of Illinois’ historic Fox River Valley with his wife, two kids, and rescue Husky-mix. Driven by a commitment to excellence, he has run his own business, trekked a thousand miles in the wilderness, and has been featured MTV.

Mason Massey

NASCAR Driver

With more than 20 years of racing experience, Massey is no stranger to success. A stellar racing career on asphalt and dirt started when Mason was 5 years old. Since then, Mason has piled over 200 feature wins, 11 championships, and 10 track records across multiple classes. This includes a first place win in February 2026 at Kern’s Raceway for the ARCA Menards West. Mason looks forward to bringing his competitive nature and history of winning entering the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Mason is an official spokesperson for the National Stuttering Association.

Katie Wolf

Owner & Queen of Heavy Haul, Wolfspeed

Kathryn Wolf, is the Founder and President of Wolfspeed, a nationally recognized logistics and project-management firm headquartered in Mansfield, Texas. Kathryn has built Wolfspeed into a trusted partner for high-precision transportation, storage, crane, and rigging operations supporting power generation, construction, and data-center and energy infrastructure across the United States.

Known for her disciplined leadership and her ability to execute complex, high-stakes projects with clarity and confidence, Kathryn has established Wolfspeed as a company defined by reliability, operational rigor, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Her strategic vision has positioned Wolfspeed as a go-to provider for organizations that require absolute precision and accountability in their logistics operations.

While Kathryn credits her husband and three daughters as her foundation and motivation, her professional reputation is built on performance, consistency, and a relentless focus on elevating industry standards. Under her direction, Wolfspeed continues to expand its capabilities and national footprint, earning recognition for its expertise and its unwavering commitment to client success.

Steve Works

Critical Energy Consultant, Works Power

Currently based in Kentucky with Boyd Caterpillar, Steve Works has served nearly four decades as a Caterpillar Electric Power Generation technical representative. His duties include end-user ‘best practice’ surveys, operational training, EPSS maintenance and contingency planning, upgrades, repairs, and replacement solutions.

For over ten years, Steve was a civilian contractor tasked with training the US Army Corps of Engineers (249th Battalion; Huntsville AL) on Acceptance of Diesel-Powered Generator Sets (Course #106). Overseas duties included the revamping of EPSS equipment at the US Embassy in Sana’a Yemen, power plant rebuilds for Turks and Caicos, and US disaster recovery efforts during Hurricanes Isabel, Katrina, Rita, Sandy, and Helene.

In 2010, Steve was named as a Technical Advisor to Dan Chisholm, Sr (MGI / former Chairman of Technical Committees Responsible for NFPA 110 & 111); and in 2017, was appointed to those same committees. As the principal owner of Works Power / Critical Energy Consulting, he also serves as a consultant to assess hospital, university, and nursing home EPSSs; and regularly speaks at healthcare conferences across the US.

Receiving ‘CHEPP’ certification through MGI, Steve’s technical training and certifications include Caterpillar diesel and natural gas gensets, ATS and paralleling switchgear (ASCO, Russelectric, GE Zenith, Eaton) and industry standard EPSS controls and equipment (Woodward, Basler, AVO – certified thermographer, FLIR)
