In October 2024, Mongoose Power Solutions was named #89 on the list of Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in NH and recognized as the #1 of 20 on the Fastest Growing Women Led Businesses with an average growth rate of 144.3%. In the November 2024 issue, Mongoose was named the #1 of the top five fastest growing companies to watch with an average annual growth rate of 144%, more than double the second company on the list.

Launched in April 2019, Mongoose Power Solutions plays a vital role in supporting mission critical infrastructure such as hospitals, telecommunications, data centers and municipal services. When storms hit and the power goes out at these facilities, emergency backup generators are the unsung heroes keeping essential services running. But even the best generator is only as dependable as its fuel supply.
“If diesel fuel isn’t properly monitored, treated and maintained, fuel degradation, and contamination from water and microbial growth can wreak havoc and stop a generator in its tracks when it is needed the most,” says Hilger. “The facility is responsible for the reliability of their fuel. This is where Mongoose comes in, we make sure the fuel source is just as reliable as a jet flying across the Atlantic Ocean. In an emergency, you cannot afford the loss of power due to a minimally maintained fuel supply.” Mongoose works with customers to ensure reliable, clean fuel, working systems, and peace of mind.
Hilger’s passion doesn’t stop at fuel reliability. Her years of experience have shown her that engineers and facility managers need more support to better understand emergency power systems and adapt to evolving codes and standards. To address this, she has expanded the work of Mongoose nationally by offering consulting services and advocacy. Mongoose also offers education and networking through the Annual Northeastern Emergency Power Conference. The 5th annual conference will be May 6-8, 2025 in Springfield, MA.
Mongoose works to promote and elevate the onsite and emergency industry through innovative initiatives, including sponsorship of NASCAR Xfinity driver Kyle Sieg and RSS Racing, showcasing the critical link between power reliability and diverse real-world applications. Mongoose Power Solutions plans to expand sponsorship in 2025 to include 10 NASCAR Xfinity races throughout the US.
