2024 Northeastern Emergency Power Conference
The 4th Annual Northeastern Emergency Power Conference was held in Springfield, MA, centrally located along the northeast corridor. Keynote speakers were Hayden Bailey, generator technician and social media influencer known as the Limb Loss Boss, and Ben Killoy, veteran and motivational speaker. We also hosted several general sessions, including the Joint Commission Resources and the Good Jobs Institute. Attendees could choose workshops from multiple tracks such as sales and leadership, human resources, and technical sessions.

It’s been a fantastic conference. I’ve enjoyed topics such as sales, leadership, and there has been technical breakout sessions as well. This is my fourth time attending the conference and every year I learn something new as well as get to network with a lot of great people and find new opportunities in the industry. This year I brought my Service Sales person and my Office Manager who were also able to attend technical session and leadership sessions. I think they will take some really good information home with them. I highly encourage checking it out.

I’m was really grateful to be able to attend the conference and make a lot of new connections and just be a part of the generator world from someone who actually cares about it. I was really passionate about coming to this because I could really utilize the services that Onsite Power Academy offers. There are a lot of limitations set on the industry based on manufacturer proprietary concerns. OnSite Power will train universally on how systems works. The struggles that I have found in the industry growing as a generator technician could have been more than smoothed out by more formal education, something just like Onsite Power Academy.
