Hayden Bailey, an Illinois-based industrial generator and HVAC repair specialist, is not your ordinary influencer. With over 1.8 million followers on TikTok and 47 million likes, Hayden, also known as the “Limb Loss Boss,” has captured the attention of audiences worldwide.
Hayden’s career story is one of determination. His interest in the trades began in high school, leading him to start as an apprentice and work as a union pipefitter with an HVAC service company. However, tragedy struck in 2013 when a car accident resulted in the loss of both his legs above the knee during his first year of the apprenticeship.
With resilience and a positive outlook, Hayden mastered bilateral above knee prosthetics and returned to work full time in 2016 for ENTEC, a local service company. His position was focusing on maintaining backup power generators and package HVAC units for remote cell sites. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue further training, including certification from Generac, enhancing his skills and expertise in the field.
But Hayden’s impact extends beyond his professional achievements. He is a devoted husband and father of four young children. In his free time, Hayden enjoys the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and shed antler hunting which has gained him local notoriety.
